  1. I took my car to Scott on the advice of a neighbor, after relying on the dealership for my family’s car repair needs in the past. After I saw the quality work, great price and super-fast turnaround with Scott (not to mention friendly office folks), the dealer will never see my cars again. I plan on taking my cars to Scott exclusively in the future. He’s that good.

  2. Scott is a really good mechanic. I have been taking my cars to him for the past ten year. He is honest, flexible, and priced reasonably. I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else. i love Mobil 1 synthetic oil and filters. I buy them at Advance Auto Parts for 430-$32 when they go on sale. Scott at Doc’s changes the oil for $16. You can’t beat that price. I’ve never had any complains about the work he did.

  3. Appreciate the service we have received at Doc’ s.

  4. We’ve been taking our cars to Doc’s Garage for over 10 years now. It’s nice to find a place where you trust the mechanic and he stands behind his work.

  5. Docs Garage is excellent. The work I’ve had performed has always been satisfactory. Scott is honest; never have I been mislead about work that needs to be done. He is diligent about returning calls and completing work timely. I won’t go anywhere else for car repair and service.

  6. I can’t recommend Doc’s Garage highly enough. We have been going there for many years and always get great work at a very good price.

  7. Doc’s has been around as long as i can remember, and that is about 20 years!! you will not be jerked around or get the run around! and you will not be over charged or coned out of your money, the guys at Docs use quality parts and give quality service too! Right by the old BJ’s Restaurant, easy location and easy prices on your wallet!

  8. Cheap and reliable. My husband and I have used Doc’s garage quite often! They have done repairs on both of our cars and we have been satisfied. We dropped the car off and it was ready in one day! Prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of parking. It is in downtown Wake Forest, convenient.

  9. I took a vehicle to Doc’s garage a long time ago and was happy then. Moved away and returned, but didn’t think about the place. After reading the posts on here I decided to revisit the shop since our 2001 Dodge Intrepid needed a tune up and my non mechanical husband had no idea where to turn to for reasonable work…we did not want a dealership turning a basic “tune up” into a money making event for themselves.(having just experienced this several months ago on another vehicle) :-). So the overall experience with leaving a car, getting the work done, picking it up, paying for it (without sticker shock)was very satisfactory at Doc’s….Scott is a friendly, capable guy who will bend over backwards to fix the problem. He will also tell you when there is no problem and where NOT to spend your money. Highly recommended.

I brought my 1988 S10 pickup in for Air Conditioning work. Scott evaluated the A/C, then clearly explained the options I had, the price for each option, and his recommendation. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The final price was what he had initially quoted. Overall, this was a very good experience.

Scott is just getting started as the new owner of Doc’s garage. He has integrity, a wealth of good experience, and inspires confidence. Although we have only taken our cars to him a few times so far, I hope he will replace the local Chevy dealer as our primary car mechanic.
